Phew...

Another week behind us.
Another week ahead of us.
Paper is finished though I'm not 100% in love with the whole 3rd person deal.
I really enjoyed learning wound care, and I'm really ready for another clinical experience.
Meds here we come.

....And its only the beginning

Today was only the start of whats to come. A tiny peak of what our lives as nursing students will be. Not just being responsible for knowing material, but applying it "critically"and  in the correct order. WOW!
I'm super excited and scared to death all in the same breath.

All dressed up and no where to go

Today I feel Blah! Do you remember when you were a teenager and just started to go out with friends and it was a major big deal? There was always that one time when you thought you had a ride to wherever the fun was and then they cancelled on you. So your standing in your bedroom all dressed up and no where to go. Well....that's kind of how I feel today. I have all my books and study guides out and just cant get in the studying groove. Does that make any sense?
I want so bad to make a great (not good) grade on the mid term, and today is just depressing me.
I think I will put everything up for half hour or so, make a pot of coffee, and start over.
Maybe its just a girl day......

Feeling the heat

Today I found myself having a miniature mental hissy fit. I stayed up way too late last night working on my rough draft for the elder reminiscence paper, and realized this morning that I really should be studying for the mid-term, and then I kind of got aggravated with myself. Why cant I study harder, longer without getting so sleepy??? 
Oh, by the way my sons football team won their 1st game 36 to 12!!! GO BEARS!! He's so cool !!

Long Day

Today is proving to be a long day. There are so many things that I want/need to get done, and I find myself not accomplishing anything!
I hope tomorrow proves to be more productive.
